What kind of documents/information do you need to prepare to make a booking?
Following are the mandatory information required when placing a booking –
1. Port of Loading

What is a Bill of Lading (BL)?
A bill of lading (BL or BoL) is a legal document issued by a carrier to a shipper that details the type, quantity, and destination of the goods being carried. A bill of lading also serves as a shipment receipt when the carrier delivers the goods at a predetermined destination. This document must accompany the shipped products, no matter the form of transportation, and must be signed by an authorized representative from the carrier, shipper, and receiver.
What kind of information do you need to prepare to make the Bill of Lading (BL)?
The mandatory documents that are required required are –
1. Booking number, BL number.
2. Shipper, consignee, notifying party
3. Vessel, voyage, port of loading, port of discharge
4. Cargo description
5. Payment terms
Can I amend the Bill of Lading (BL)?
We strongly recommend not making any amendments on the Bill of Lading after the assigned vessel has sailed. As soon as the Bill of Lading has been issued, any amendments are subject to a carriers’ amendments’ fee. The fee may vary from USD 70 to USD 200. Please note that we cannot guarantee that amendments made will be changed and if it is, it may take an uncertain amount of time. Hence, please ensure all details are accurate before submission of the BL.
Does Panda Global Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd provide our own House Bill of Lading (BL)?
Yes, Panda Global has our very own House BL but our House BL is subject to our agents that are available in that particular country.
How long will it take for the carrier to issue the first draft of the Bill of Lading (BL)?
The first draft will generated within 4 to 8 hours after submission and will be created by our carrier system.
Can you guarantee the transit time ?
Please note that the dates we provide are ESTIMATED. ETD –Estimated Time of Departure. ETA- Estimated Time of Arrival. The transit time provided in your booking confirmation is also ESTIMATED. Weather, customs complications and other circumstances which are beyond our control may cause delays.
Do you provide insurance for the transported goods ?
Yes, Panda Global Logistics (M) Sdn Bhd provides cargo insurance and additional coverages for an extra fee. Insurance is extremely important in the case of partial or total damage, loss or theft of your cargo. Therefore, itemize expensive items approriately on the insurance policy so that you will be properly compensated for your loss.
